In today’s time, life is stressful. Most people don’t follow a proper balanced routine and diet. Office work, deadlines, family commitments, exams, studies, anxiety all cause us to eat and sleep irregularly. Such irregularity is a root cause of various issues, hair fall being one of them.
Hair makes a person look and feel attractive. It is a very important part of our appearance. People who experience hair fall or balding generally tend to lose self esteem and self confidence. Men are more susceptible to this phenomenon than women. Thus for the benefit of all guys everywhere, I am sharing with you some simple and effective home remedies to reduce hair fall and get healthy hair.
Here are 5 Super Amazing Ways to Treat Hair Fall
1. Hair Oil Massage:
An oil massage is very good for your hair. Heat the oil a little and with the tips of your finger apply the oil to your scalp and tips. Massage gently with your fingers. This has a very soothing effect.
2. Amla:
Indian Gooseberry or Amla is a rich source of Vitamin C. Applying Amla to your hair reduces white hair, arrests hair fall and accelerates the growth of hair. It increases your volume and cleans your scalp. You can apply Amla juice to your hair and let it stay overnight (Make sure you cover your hair with shower cap) and then wash it off in the morning with a mild shampoo. You will instantly feel the change in your hair volume. If overnight is too much for you then you can shampoo it even after leaving it in for 30 mins.
3. Onion:
Yes onion juice is great for hair. You apply it to your scalp, same as the Amla juice. For better results add a little honey to the onion juice and leave it in your scalp for about 15 mins. Then shampoo it off. No, if you shampoo properly, and by properly I don’t mean overuse, but a proper hair wash doesn’t make your hair smell like onions. So don’t make that an excuse.
4. Curd:
It softens and smoothens your hair. Hair becomes silkier. Make a mixture of sour curd and honey and apply it on your hair. Make sure to cover the scalp region properly. The roots are very important. Don’t leave it on for more than 30 mins and then shampoo it off.
5. Coconut Milk:
This is made from brown coconut. You take a brown coconut and grate the white inner part Add a little water to this. Tie the grated coconut in cheesecloth and squeeze it tightly to drain all the liquid out. Again add a little water to this liquid and heat it on the stove. Add a little olive oil and/or Amla juice to this mixture. This is optional; the coconut milk is also good to go by itself. When it is heated, apply it to your hair.
Your hair may become coarse as the coconut milk dries but after washing it, the change in your hair is quite noticeable. Coconut milk is a rich source of protein. It moisturizes your hair from root to tips and rejuvenates it. It also boosts hair growth and prevents balding. It is effective in treating the problem of dry hair, damaged hair, brittle/weak hair and split ends.
These are some of the home remedies you can try for solving the issue of hair fall. An important thing to remember before trying these home remedies is that, though they are very effective and tackle the issue from a grass root level, they take their time. Don’t expect miraculous results overnight. Use these remedies from time to time and try to maintain a balanced diet and a healthy routine for faster results.
