What is Sun Tanning?
Sun tanning is the simply a result of the sunrays on the skin for some time which makes the skin shade get darker than its normal skin tone. Exposure to the sun is important for developing Vitamin D but sun tan is not attractive. Excessive exposure to the ultraviolet radiation of the sun causes sunburns and red spots on the skin. Repeated sun tan can lead to problems in the immune system, make the skin look aged with wrinkles and cause skin cancer.

1. Milk and Turmeric:
• Take a bowl of raw milk
• Add a pinch of turmeric powder to it
• Apply the milk to the tanned areas of the skin
• Let it dry completely
• Wash it off with cold water
2. Sandalwood Power Mask:
• Take a half a bowl of coconut water
• Mix 1-2 table of sandalwood powder
• Make a thin paste
• Apply it on the sun tan area
• Leave it on for a few minutes
• Wash off with cold water
3. Pineapple Pulp:
• Take the pulp of a pineapple
• Add about 1 tablespoon honey in it
• Massage it on tanned areas gently
• Let it on for some time
• Rinse it
4. Ripe Papaya:
• Crush around half a cup of ripe papaya
• Take one-tablespoon honey
• Mix it well in a container
• Apply on gently on tanned areas
• Leave it for 30 minutes before washing it off
5. Almonds Paste:
• Soak few almonds in water
• Peel off the almonds
• Grind the almonds with some milk to make a paste
• Apply it to the affected area
• leave it overnight
6. Cucumber Extract:
• Take 1 tablespoon of cucumber extract, rose water and lemon juice
• Mix each of the 3 ingredients in a container
• Dab it gently on the tanned skin
• Let it rest for few minutes

7. Bengal Gram Flour Paste:
• Take 2 tablespoons of Bengal gram flour
• Add small amount of turmeric, milk and 1 tablespoon rose water
• Mix it well in a bowl
• Apply the paste to tanned areas
• Leave it for 15-20 minutes
• Wash it off with cold water
8. Oat Meal Mixture:
• Take 3 tablespoons buttermilk
• Add 2 tablespoons oatmeal to it
• Mix it well in a container
• Massage it on the tanned areas using circular movements
• Wash it off
9. Potato Juice:
• Take a medium size potato
• Smash it and take the juice
• Mix the juice with 1 spoon lemon juice
• Apply it on the tan
• Leave it for 30 minutes
• Rinse with water
10. Lemon Juice:
• Take a bucket full of warm water
• Add some lemon juice to it
• Soak hands or legs into the bucket
• Soak it for 10 – 15 minutes
• Wash it with cold water

• Take one teaspoon sandalwood powder
• Add sufficient rose water, milk or regular water
• Mix it well, make sure there are no lumps

14. Strawberry Paste:
• Mash 5 strawberries in a bowl
• Add 2 tablespoons of milk cream in it
• Apply it gently on tanned skin
• Leave it half an hour
• Wash it off
15. Yogurt Paste:
• Take half a bowl yogurt
• Add equal quantity of tomato extract
• Mix it well in a container
• Apply the paste all over the tanned areas
• Let it be for half an hour
• Wash it off with water
